On April 26th, at Suoi Dau Industrial Zone (Cam Lam District), the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Confederation and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Khanh Hoa Province organized the launching ceremony for the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health and kicked off the Worker Month in 2024.

At the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council of Khanh Hoa, requested that all levels, sectors, localities, businesses, and workers pay more attention and investment in implementing the work of occupational safety and health. Mr. Toan emphasized key tasks in occupational safety and health such as strengthening and enhancing the effectiveness of safety and sanitation management at work.

Also at the launching ceremony, leaders of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Confederation and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs awarded certificates of merit to the Trade Union of Long Sinh Company and 7 other collectives that have achieved outstanding results in the “Green – Clean – Beautiful” movement.

On the same day, provincial leaders and leaders of departments and agencies visited Long Sinh Company. During the working session, Mr. Vuong Vinh Hiep – General Director of the company, presented an overview report on the production and business situation, as well as the care for workers’ lives in 2023 and the orientation for 2024. Mr. Ta Hong Quang – Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs of Khanh Hoa Province, delivered remarks acknowledging the positive and effective activities of Long Sinh Company in taking care of workers’ lives and promptly capturing proposals regarding support policies for workers.
