On the morning of April 17th, Trade Union of Industrial Zones and Economic Zones in Khanh Hoa province organized the Occupational Safety and Health Excellence Competition for the year 2024. This is a practical activity aimed at the Month of Workers and the Month of Action for Occupational Safety and Health.

The competition was honored to welcome leaders of Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Union, representatives of the Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone, to attend and judge the participating teams.

Each team went through three competition rounds:

* Round 1: Greetings, introduction.
*Round 2: Testing knowledge of laws, regulations on labor safety and hygiene; technical knowledge of occupational safety and hygiene, fire and explosion prevention, environmental protection; handling of accident risk situations.
* Round 3: Practical first aid bandaging exercises.

After thrilling rounds of competition, the grassroots trade union of Long Sinh Co., Ltd. excellently won the first prize of the entire competition and an outstanding individual award, becoming the representative of the Trade Union of Industrial Zones and Economic Zones to compete in the Occupational Safety and Health Excellence Competition for the year 2024 in Khanh Hoa province.

The Occupational Safety and Health Excellence Competition is an opportunity for union members and workers to enhance awareness of occupational safety and health, while also promoting the dissemination of policies and laws on labor safety and hygiene. Especially, it mobilizes workers to actively implement regulations for occupational safety and health, aiming to make it a widespread grassroots movement and contribute to creating a safety culture within the enterprise.
